Job Summary: We are looking for a Social Impact Comms Manager (1-year contractor) to join lululemon China PR team. This position will be based in Shanghai, China, and reports to the PR Director. A critical partner of lululemon Centre for Social Impact, this role serves as a comms expert to elevate our brand purpose and culture storytelling both internally and externally. Core Accountabilities: · Lead and drive social impact comms strategy in China · Develop compelling messaging that is globally consistent and locally relevant · Powerfully story-tell social impact programs across earned and owned channels · Build, manage and maintain key media relationships with the objective to educate and amplify social impact messaging throughout the year · Enhance our thought leadership in the wellbeing space through strategic partnerships, wellbeing reports, ambassador voices, media collaborations, and more · Support to build social impact comms foundations, including narrative, toolkit, etc. · Manage executive briefing strategies and materials · Work closely with global comms team to ensure alignment and wider synergies Qualifications: ● Around 7 years of experience in strategic communications and/or impact communications role working for a global organization ● Have a keen understanding of the media landscapes in China ● Passion for social impact, wellbeing and mindfulness ● Track record of human storytelling ● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English ● Constant and curious learner; always looking at new ways to innovate in this space ● Very strong attention to detail ● Strong collaboration skills ● Bachelor’s degree or above Our “Must Haves”: ● Proven work ethic with utmost integrity ● Desire to excel and succeed ● Actively live and breathe the lululemon culture and lifestyle ● Self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement (goal-oriented) ● Entrepreneurial spirit ● Winning through others ● Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable ● Outgoing, energetic, upbeat, and fun!
